Scottish Whisky Trail & Group Tour

Scottish Whisky Trail & Group Tour

Scottish Whisky Trail & Group Tour

Discover the five principal Whisky Distillery regions.

Tour Highlights

  • Speyside Whisky distilleries - this is Scotland's most famous whisky region and is set in a valley of rivers and secluded glens. Follow the malt whisky trail as you visit some of the 50 distilleries located in the region, including Glenlivet, Glenfiddich and Glen Moray in the charming town of Elgin.
  • Highland Whisky distilleries - this region offers the widest range of whisky styles - from rich and textured to fragrantly floral. Here you will sample a dram or two from some of the country's oldest distilleries including Glenturret, and some of the newest such as Isle of Raasay.
  • Islay Whisky distilleries - known as 'whisky island', Islay's distilleries back to 1779 and often started as farm distilleries.
  • Campbeltown Whisky distilleries - this is Scotland's smallest whisky region but are known to have a distinctive regional flair to them. Enjoy a tour and tasting at all 3 of the distilleries int the area; Springbank, Glen Scotia and Glengyle's.
  • Lowland Whiksy distilleries - this rural setting  is reflected in the lighter and sweeter tastes from the malts produced in the region. The region is also home to the famous Lindores Abbey Distillery which produced whisky for King James IV.

What Our Clients Say

I was very fortunate to be on their 70th and 75th D-Day celebration tours. The service and attention to details was exceptional. It was very moving to go back.

As a Jane Austen enthusiast, this tour was perfect - and the Jane Austen Festival in Bath was just fabulous to see!

Words fail me...The Downton Abbey was a perfectly wonderful travel experience! We did not know we would be the ONLY guests at the Abbey. When we realised how truly exclusive our tour was we were speechless! Surreal being there and actually meeting Lady Carnarvon.
